Fancy Free Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- 60mL Bourbon Whiskey
- 15mL Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to your double old fashioned glass
- Stir briefly
- Garnish with a twist of orange
I’m in love with a drink here in US from Maggiano’s restaurant. They age in house: Bourbon, Disaronno & Cointreau and served on rocks. I have not been able to get anywhere close to the same taste (obviously don’t have a barrel to age as well) Any tips?
Sounds interesting! I’ve only aged spirit-forward cocktails and haven’t experimented with aging with liqueurs – will have to try it out… Maybe try recreate the aging process with a barrel stave like this: https://store.tuthilltown.com/products/cocktail-aging-kit-charred-oak-barrel-stave-1
